HOW DOES DERMALUX WORK?
Dermalux is a relaxing, pain-free treatment with no downtime. The LEDs trigger a variety of skin-enhancing processes meaning that visible benefits continue to appear even after the treatment has finished. Controlled levels of near-infrared, blue, and red light are clinically proven to be beneficial to the skin whereas exposure to UV is very damaging.
LED’s help to provide the controlled light so will maximise it’s effects. Dermalux uses the highest quality LEDs, expertly aligned to deliver each wavelength at a specific, measured energy output, intensity and dose. This treatment also allows all three wavelengths to be used at the same time, meaning treatment times can be kept to a minimum!
Red LED light is used to boost collagen and elastin production, even out skin tone and texture, soothe redness and shrink enlarged pores.
Blue LED light is calming on the skin and helps to improve skin clarity. It is also a powerful antibacterial treatment that treats acne, normalises oil production, and prevents breakouts.

Near Infra-red is used to calm redness and irritation in the skin, this is also anti-ageing and helps relieve pain and inflammation on the skin.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED TO SEE RESULTS?
This is a pain-free treatment and can be used on all skin types. The treatment is relaxing and lasts around 20 minutes. Your skin may feel warm during and after the treatment, and you may notice some redness but this will reduce quickly.
Your practitioner will advise on the best light combination and treatment course for your skin, but each treatment course requires a minimum of 10 treatments over a 3 week period.
